WTB: EJ25 Engine - To Suit 02 RX Liberty

My mate did his engine in his 02 RX Liberty last night, and now needs a replacement.

Anyone out there have an EJ25 to replace it?

Spoke to Kris on Sunday - pretty pricey for an old engine.
Cheaper to buy one out of a wreck.

your other option it ICHIBAN imports on the central coast. their engines are always well priced. i found for B4 RSK engines they beat everyone for price.
i don't think they have any 2.5i at the moment but I'm sure they can get you one.

Thanks mate. We almost bought that one, but because it was from a 98, I posted the question as to whether it'd fit into an 02 on the forums.
Turns out it will, but wiring loom is a bit different - prefer something that just slots in and the car is good to go again.
