Hi,

My current battery seems to have given up, need to get a replacement but I'm short of cash at the moment so looking to get a cheap second hand battery just to use temporarily until I can afford to get a good one.

I need one soon and can only travel within the ACT to pick it up.

Otherwise I'm considering going to the wreckers to get a cheap one.

Cheers

Have you looked at a big w or Kmart to see prices on a new one ?
I don't see a 2nd hand battery lasting very long

I went to Kmart, they had one for $130 compared to $160 from supercheap.
With a $30 difference I would just go with supercheap.

But I'll look around.

I'm going to see if I can first charge my battery overnight. Just to buy some more time before I buy a new battery.

I didn't really expect many replies, just thought I would put it out there just in case someone had upgraded their battery recently or just had a spare one laying around.

Decided to get a battery tray from subaru to fit a larger battery.

Going to go with the century 75d23l from supercheap.
Managed to negotiate them down to $170 (told them I wanted to price match autobarn who offered $179).

Need to also get a couple of other bits to get it to fit. Going to cost me $200 in the end.

Which is great because it will be 620CCA.
