Hi guys,
after 5 years of owning an NA liberty, im finally ready to realise my dream of owning a GT Spec B.

Im specifically after a manual wagon.. i know this makes things a lot harder.. but the heart wants what the heart wants

Ideally id like a MY07 or MY08 with less than 100,000kms. To really test the friendship, id LOVE a pearl white wagon (not sure if they even make these in the 07/08 as i cant recall ever seeing one on the road) or the diamond grey colour. Obviously im looking to buy a second hand car, so all colours will be considered.

If anyone out there is thinking of selling anything like this, or knows of anyone who might be thinking of selling, please let me know. Distance isnt too much of an issue, im happy to consider interstate cars, although anything in WA would have to be VERY special for me to travel that far haha

yes they do have pearl white 07/08. they are hard to come across but defiantly worth it. if you see one jump on it. won't stay around for long...

Thanks sh4wry! Who better to tell me they come in pearl white than someone that owns one!! Its a love hate colour, but I love it. When my current liberty is polished and waxed the pearl looks amazing. Will be a shame if I cant find one... though the diamond grey colour is beautiful too.

I toyed with the idea of getting the auto, but I've always owned manuals so I don't know if I could handle it. I might test drive an auto and see what they're like.
Things are looking up though, at least now I know they are available in white

Damn shame it's an auto... it's right near my house!! Think I'll check it out anyway.
I think he's dreaming with the asking price though. There is an STI on car sales for that price at the moment.

I would say that white gt should go for about 27-29k?? Judging by Redbook and what other ones on carsales are asking.

When i bought my sti wagon i saw a few pearl manual 08 wagons(last of the gen4)

If your just after a GTB i think you will get one for under 25k mate. STI a few grand more.

Just be patient, they come up more often then people think.

I still have my current liberty so im prepared to be patient. I have my wedding and a 5 week honeymoon in a few months so no need to rush and get one before then.

Knowing my luck, a perfect one will come and go while im overseas haha

From what I have heard others paying and what I paid for mine you should be able to get them down to $27k, just ask Sh4wry I forget what he paid but I remember what it was listed for as I was interested in that one as well. The only GTB Manual wagon I have seen under $25k was a pearl white one at the start of last year, it had about 128k on the clock and it was advertised for $22k. Wanted a quick sale, but I had no money at that stage and didn't check it out to see if there was anything wrong with it.

Although saying that I have just looked at car sales and if you would consider gold?

I've seen that gold one you're talking about. Its very cheap and I can remember there was something about it I didn't like (other than the colour).
I'm definitely prepared to wait for the right one to come along. I plan on keeping it for a while so have to be happy with it.

Is Pearl white a special colour, or are all white libs 'pearl white'?

Either way, it looks like a beautiful colour, if I got another liberty it would either be white, or black/gray

Yep, they're all pearl white. You can't really tell on my model from a distance unless the suns at the right angle. But on the newer models the pearl is a bit more noticeable.

I'll keep my eye out for you on the usual car sites, is white the only pearl they do, isnt there a gray with a bit of a sparkle?
