Sold my WRX nearly 2 months ago. Sick of driving the Foot Falcon (aka: walking) so i'm branching out my search for a new car.

I'm after a Liberty GT that fits the description below:

<150,000km
Sedan
Must have leather seats and a sunroof
Prefer Manual
MY07, Spec B and STi earn extra brownie points
As does a way to connect an ipod
Prefer whites, greys and silvers but will consider all colours except green and that baby blue.
Unmodified suspension (nothing stiffer than Spec B/STi) as it needs to be suitable for a newborn. That was the reason the WRX was sold.
Needs to be on the east coast, and i'd prefer NSW or southern QLD so i can collect it easier.

Yep. I'm on there multiple times a day. Still can't hurt to cast a wider net for those that may not advertise on carsales.

The 4 cars that are sedans that show in those results, i can tell you about all 4.
#1 is in victoria and has coilovers and a spare set of wheels which i would have to freight back = Nope
#2 is a repaired write-off and didn't come forth with that info until i was going to have someone inspect it = Nope
#3 is that baby blue colour which i really don't like and that dealer hasn't returned a couple of phone calls = Nope
#4 is sold. Payment and pickup is expected on the weekend = Nope

Look at my wagon. And put 5kg springs in and it will ride better than any bilstein.

5kg? no way. Stock seems to be 3.5 and spec b is 4. I need it to be soft for a newborn. wrx was 4.25 and it was too stiff. Pulsar before that had coilovers which were 5. Handled great, but would kill you kidneys on a trip

If you want super soft the gt might not be for you. The gtb at least is pretty harsh (although the only ones ive driven didn't exactly have brand new suspension.
Harshness isnt all just about spring rate either.

I test drove a GT-B and it was firm, but absorbed the bumps and was not harsh at all. Much better than the WRX was.

Any particular reason you're looking for a sedan? We've just come from a pulsar too and in the process of buying a GT wagon. Better boot space (we have a 12 month old bub too)

Yeah I personally wouldn't want to be a newborn riding in the back of my GT-B. IMO it'd be way too harsh.

It does however have immaculate interior and exterior as well as a A1 engine bay and 6 months rego. But I am after $23k mark.

There are some awesome GT's out there dude. Just be patient.

Meh, sunroof is overrated. I would rather not have it.

+1 to that.. If it's hot out I will occasionally tilt it up but otherwise it just stays closed.. Pure wank factor to me Some people drive with them open all the time though so each to their onw..

Gt-b + wagon + huge sunroof = family heaven!

(just need to fix and tint my sunroof )
