I bought the AVO locally in the end :D

I'm looking for one of these for my MY07 wagon, or some leads for where to purchase second hand or new. Made by Cusco and possibly other brands too.
I'd settle for even the part number name or link, but I'm after the same one or similar to that which bass_straightener recently installed and which fatfrog06 recently sold. :D
Obviously Phat, 999 Automotive and TuSpeed for new, any others, any going S/H, any info?

Here's one example available locally (to Melbourne), could I do better?

Thanks for looking!
Is it a "rear 4 point brace" ?
Anyhow, just putting it out there, not yet ready to commit to purchasing new, thus all the Q's and info requests.
Yes PM'd those members...

OK! AVO make them too :P S1B03G1GG002T Rear Brace for 2004+ Liberty, Spec B, Outback 3.0 RRP $275 woot!

School me!

The DRConcepts version seems a little pricey... Any good reports on Wangan brand? Awesome or... :bad:

Anyone selling S/H ?

What do you mean by 'placebo' parts, I noticed a huge difference when I installed my STi flexible strut bar and the prova air guide...

And my coolant temperatures have dropped 4 degrees since I raised my number plate. Definitely more air getting through.

PM Phat he had a set not so long ago and sold them for $180 from memory. Check his commercial vendor forum.

I hope there is another catch up soon Bruce... Sounds like you are well over 12 months ahead of me with mods. I will have to check out your suspension setup. I am thinking Tower Bar and sway bar but where after that? To go with Whiteline or???

@ cruisn: You bet! More stuff that can't be seen or heard, but installed may have an inexplicable feel good effect. +more work for you potentially
@ hamish: there's a free pass on razzzing me, you know,
@ bass_straitener: thanks! more paydirt, baby!!! :D
@ Victripper: +1 for another meet. I'm doing tower bars last if at all :|

I looked up the install guide and pics at AVO Turboworld, and WOW!
If I had any ignorance about the potential necessity of this upgrade, taking a peek at that convinced me!
The rear 4 point braces go a long way to triangulate or reinforce what appear to be otherwise unsupported sub-frames and mounts related to the rear suspension.
I probably don't "need" them or indeed my entire "budget" suspension makeover, but I will feel good researching, acquiring and hopefully enjoying the spoils, post install.
ATM... $350>$275>possibly$180>>>???
So yes, still looking for S/H or even more quotes on new. 8)

Thanks Cobber, for the look-see at your number plate risers, did mine last night and the car just looks that much nicer.
Used the same sticky rubber weather strip as in my totally pirate clutch stop. Further proof we'd be nowhere without some help from cruisn :P

What do you mean?

Ben already has a honeycomb grill like yours. He also has the Stanza CF scoop.

Keep up Kieran.
