Looking for the material cover that clips into/attaches to the interior of the tailgate - not the retractable cargo blind.

Father in law borrowed the car and accidentally snapped it off

Did he just snap off the the part on the outer edge that clips into the tailgate trim?

If so, its removeable and you can buy this part new from Subaru on its own. My wife snapped one side of mine. Approx $30 or so from memory per side.

that's a surprise - usually Subaru will make you buy a whole lot just to replace one little part - will give them a call tomorrow.

Yeh thats what I thought too. Apparently its a common occurance, thats why they offer the side parts seperately.

yeh had the same thing when i bought mine. i only need one part of it and was only $12
