WTB: Manual Gear shift knob

Hi all,

Just wanted to see if anyone has a spare leather/faux leather manual gear knob laying about (ideally a Subaru one but not essential). I bought a sik chrome one on a whim when I first got my Sherpa to pimp it up a bit but had since realised that in summer the gear knob gets blisteringly hot and in winter is too cold to touch in the morning on the way to the station. I'd put the one on that came with the car but it's a bit boring to look at.

If anyone has anything laying around let me know. Nothing ridiculously expensive please (around $20 ideally).

Cheers,
Garbo

WHen I had an alloy gear knob I kept a woolen sock in the glovebox to put over it when parking in hot weather.

Now I've changed the knob altogether and running an STI Duracon one which hardly gets hot or cold.

PM Sent. :-)

My god my hand nearly got stuck to the gear knob this morning. I really should touch my tongue to it one morning ala Harry in Dumb and Dumber on the ski lift LMAO

I have a set of beer pants (beer cooler) that I use but I'm kinda getting a bit jack of doing that every day.

I drive the Sherpa each day to and from the station, but tbh I probably could drive her to work (around 65kms each way) if traffic was light in the morning and her CV's were in better condition.

The work she does is an 8km round trip to and from the station, and then to Bunnings and back of a weekend and other misc trips here and there. On a tank of 98RON I get about 400kms and only fill up every 4 to 6 weeks. Ruby Rose is an absolute goer!!! 60km/h in the GT feels like nothing, in Ruby Rose 60km/h feels like you're going 1,000,000km/h :D
