WTB: Cheap Mufflers - Gen IV GT

Hi Guys,

Just after a set of cheap mufflers that are hi-flow for some sound.. need some boxer rumble back in my life..

I'm based in Syd.

04-06 GT's run equal length headers with the twinscroll turbo.

Not much boxer sounds coming out of them.

yeah.. I had a B4, exact same setup, it does still have a boxer note, just not the complete brighton le-sands burble

There is a set on ebay a complete cat-back for $439.00 just worried it will be too loud and drone

You had equal length headers and a single twin-scroll turbo in a B4?

$439 is good, Just get mufflers put on and sell or ditch the rest if you want it subtle

I had the equal length headers.. but better than twin-scroll, I had TWIN TURBO.. so much more fun that single..

Especially when they were pushing 21+ psi all day everday.

hey mate, those ebay kits for $439 for the catback complete with mufflers is great!

I got one for the GTB and i think its too quiet! It brings out the noise with a nice deep burble, i think it sounds great. Its not that loud either. Excellent value for money, fits good and is well made. I say get one.

Also, what are the a55 dyno gains with a cat back on am auto GT with such a puny turbo and a standard dump? Is it enough to feel it at least?? A55 dyno means more to me than figures on a spreadsheet that differ from shop to shop.
