I recently looked into roof racks and snowboard racks for my MY05 sedan.

Popular ones are:
www.rhinorack.com.au
www.thule.com.au
www.rola.com.au
Black MY05 Liberty GT. Sti front lip, STi rear spoiler.
Hi-Tech Turbo-back exhaust (with quad tips). HKS Panel filter. Resonatorectomy. SprintBooster fitted.
35mm lower on Pedders Sports Ryder springs. Whiteline rear sway bar. 19" ROH Modenas.

Thanks for the links heiu but I have searched all 3 of these sites before and couldn't find the style of rail I am looking for. I actually went into Subaru in Alexandria today and they informed me that there is no Rail for the MY05 Wagon, only roof rack systems.

Someone somewhere must do a rail similar to the RS4 wagon.

The search goes on!

thanks again pal

Anyone :? ....... Subaru are giving me a big NO and I'm having no luck trawling the Japanese sites, but there must be someone out there who has them, or knows where to source these style rails.

Any help appreciated

Cheers

Hey Dude.

Just bought a set of racks after looking. There's not much around coz they'ge gotta screw into the mounting points in the trim along either side of your roof so you're not gonna get much choice.

Got Rola RE006 coz they were best looking and u can get decent ski racks etc for em.

They actually look OK and pretty much no wind noise.

Rhino racks were ugly.

Another thought.

The Outback has got rails which should go straight onto a lib.

Yeah they sure are a fine vehicle and I nearly broke the bank trying to import mine from the UK when I immigrated. Too much red tape and too much going in the government coffers pushed me towards the next best thing with my GT wagon. Cried like a girl when selling my P&J though.

The B5's are still fetching big dollars over here. I could source an mtm tuned RS4 B5 in Europe for well under AUS$50 Grand. Basic here are still fetching at least $70 G's. Silly money...

Iknow, I know!! it's a Sub forum but!

A bit of porn for you if you like the RS4

according to the learned people posting replies it's called a "bang bang" and it basically tricks the car into thinking that turbo boost is needed straight away.
It would get some good reactions at the lights in gladesville i think.

Been through all kinds of things with roof racks.

Libs (and to a lesser degree Outbacks) are pains in terms of roof rack systems.

After working in the ski industry for a few years I wouldn't go past the Thule. They do cost a bit more but quality and functionality wise they are far better than anything else on the market.

Be careful if you're getting a ski box on top. If you are speak up and I'll let you know what to look for.
