Just curious if anyone has one lying around or knows of any places selling one? Need one that i can modify as part of my turbo upgrade, would prefer to not butcher up my stock up pipe.

I have a stock up-pipe from and early WRX that may be of some use to you?
it's missing half the heat-shield, but may be suitable for your purposes
all studs are in tact and the flanges/ pipe look fine

EDIT.. you're after twin scroll aren't you?

yes twinscroll one. im not sure if the vf38 up pipe is the same as td04hla one but it it is, either will do

if you have a JDM Legacy with a TD04 as factory fitted which is twin scroll, than you will be able to bolt your new Vf37 straight up leaving you only the front cover to sort out

need new connection from turbo to cooler and some minor water and oil line work

Really? guy that did the swap in uk told me that the top td04 up pipe flange is different to the vf37 up pipe flange, hence the need to make a modified td04/vf37 up pipe. do you know anyone thats done this?

100% Wrong.

TD04HLA & the VF series have a different flange for the up pipe & down pipe plus you'll need a new turbo bracket & gaskets. Swapping it for another turbo involves swapping all these as well.

Your best bet for sourcing one is talking to the Jap importing guys & see if they can grab one or parting out a JDM car.
