Gen IV brake lines

Has anypone replaced their standard brake lines for braided ones? If so could I borrow the standard ones so I can get some braided ones made up as well? You can have them back once the guy has taken all measurements? Could be a really good group buy if I can get a set!! :D

Is this worthwhile if running standard brakes?

Yes, all rubber lines swell to some degree and this is what braided removes. Will improve pedal feel, which imo is something the GenIV lacks.

$755 is a rip off. You should be able to get them for less than 1/2 this.

Bonski, That would be great and the shop would only have them for a day or so. The shop is in Melbourne too which makes it easier. The shop is called Brakewest at 129 - 131 McIntyre Road in Melbourne. Are they close to you? If they are not let me know how much the postage will be and I'll send you a few dollars to get them there and back.

Thanks
Rob

I can get AP Brakes (Dixcel) ones for you guys same ones used in the kit PhatGT was selling. They are also ADR approved, you can get defected if the lines aren't ADR approved. Will hit you back with pricing soon.
