Mcintosh Head Unit - Not Working (Series 4)

Looking for a non working Mcintosh HU for parts.
I figured I have one so with another I can get one to work.
Obviously the cheaper the better.

Have a complete working hu and amp out of my 08 gtb sitting in the garage. Only thing not (yet) out of car is the fat cable that joins the two.

Thanks Heaps jp928 For the opportunity to buy your HU but that is the same as the Head Unit I installed into the wagon.
It is the old one I am Looking to repair so I am only interested in spare parts.

BTW: Is it possible to get a mud map of the plug pin outs (wire colours) to your 08 GTB McIntosh HU or have you already replaced the unit?
(This would just confirm a small wiring issue I have with my install i.e. 07/08 HU into a 04 B-Spec)

Not sure how I can help you. I can easily get at the cable plug that feeds into amp(its still under the pax seat), but not sure what would be sueful from there?

Just a quick question on this.

HODMAN, do you have a facelifted gen4 mcintosh system on you pre face lift, i'm considering doing this and wondering how it looks if you have any photos.

Also the post facelift mcintosh systems, will play MP3 cds etc i believe. Do they also have an ipod control option? thats not a major issue for me, but the MP3 compatability is.

If anyone is able to post a pic of the facelift mcintosh system in a pre facelift that would be great.
Also if it looks ok, whats the price going to be on one of those, as i believe they are a full unit, climate included. It would be going into a MY05 3.0R-b wagon.
Also, are there any other mods, re wiring etc that would need to be done to install it??

Sorry for all the Q's. New to new subaru's. Im fine with wiring, but would like to be prepared for what i may have to do.

I payed $650 from a wreckers 12 months ago. Good deal I thought. Though it may not have come from an Australian delivered vehicle...I have no way of knowing.
