The cusco with brake stopper has increased flex and is generally considered a bad design because it incorporates 2 things that shouldn't be linked together.

A separate strut brace and then a brake stopper.
And seeing as cusco makes the only brake stopper that I know of, and the STi non flexible strut brace looks the best (imo)

That is what I suggest.

Not doubting the idea of it having more flex as im not an engineer but really the brace its self is identical but with a well welded brace off the tower
I agree the sti brace looks good but can kill two birds with one stone

Seperate MC stopper is indeed more rigid as its braced better.

Yeah I can see in the pic..the strut brace won't suffer too much from the extra flex, but the cylinder brace is not angled very strongly. I think grimmspeed makes a brake stopper too, in black 8)

Is there a lower strut brace or only one that goes from the strut towers?

Just out of curiosity

Lower arm bar on the tuned by STi models. But you are better off getting some cusco bracing.

Don't disagree with you there. Was just wondering as it seems the upper is always up for sale and the lower seems to be disregarded. Good to know that the sti variant didnt go tight arse and not brace the lower.
