Thanks Chris. Yeah I'm dragging combat gear in and out of there frequently and most if it is a stiff nylon type stuff which is wearing down the carpet.

Kieran I've just got one of the LED strips on "the bit which hangs down" - this pretty much fills the entire boot with light and also throws some out on to me so I can see what I'm doing if just behind the car. Two might be a little better but I was shocked how useful one was - especially compared to the stock globe which was dogshit.

Excellent - thank you.

The ebay one does look to be very good quality though so I could go either way. Will ring around locally to see how much the Subaru one will cost and go from there.

P.S. the neon comment was a failed troll - please don't think less of me. (not possible?)

Finally got around to ringing a Subaru dealer and they confirmed $126.50 for the mat.

Can anyone confirm whether the Subaru mat/liner or the 'booter' ebay one are compatible, or not compatible with side or rear cargo nets?

I have some pics of the eBay one installed...

When it first arrived all rolled up I was a little worried, but once I got it in it fits really well. Very durable plastic. Grips my 3-4 kg basketball bag really well and all my detailing gear.

I have no idea SegR becuase I don't have the cargo nets. Would you like some more photos of the sides inside the boot to see?
