WTB: 2004 H6 3.0R Outback stuff

Hi Guys,

I'm looking to buy a few little goodies for my new-ish outback.

First of all, it needs some low. I don't go offroading, so some lowering springs and shocks to suit a wagon would be nice.

I also wouldn't mind a decent non-droning exhaust, since this is an Auto as well, so thinking I need maybe some STI quads or similar

Also, like other I'm guessingm, my trip computer died before I bought the car. Tried fixing it with the R4 resistor soldering, but didn't work, so a trip computer would be good too

And front and rear sway bars, to improve handling

Finally, maybe a white bonnet, if possible, since the one I have has a deep scratch right in the middle from when I bought it.

Anything else you guys might want to offload to me for my 2004 Outback, let me know.

Thanks all :)

A supercharger would probably fix all your problems. ;)

You may be right.

Tempt away!

I'm coming from a 2002 Liberty B4 TT, so yeah, a supercharger would be very nice indeed! Lol!

Oh yeah, another thing to add to the list would be front and rear sway bars, to improve handling :)

Think I've found a set of Liberty GT wagon springs and shocks from a 2003 GT wagon for $350.

Do you guys think that will fit on the Obk and is that a good price?

Should just be a straight swap, right?

For my car, I'm going with shockworks coilovers - $2k, but no need to change your sway bars.

You'd be looking at the better part of $3k fitted with some new bushes, liberty bump stops and shockworks. That said - it'll handle amazingly.

The better part of $3k is half the cost of the car, so don't think I'll be spending that much.

Looking for relatively inexpensive little things I could do to improve the car a little.

It is still an outback and a family car after all, and I'm not going to track it

Best mod you could make is (as already suggested) to upgrade the front and rear swaybars, transforms the car completely over stock :)

I'm in the western suburbs mate, near Penrith.

Aww, I like the outback bonnet, unless the Lib was a GT bonnet. Lol!

Anyone got any front and rear sway bars for an outback?

Or know someone who has some?
