You'll get something very decent for 25k. In the past couple months the odd TB-Sti have come up for that price range.

There are several decent looking gtb's atm too on carsales

Fingers crossed mate.

The only downside to alot of them on carsales is that the ones I have seen have had flaws, some more than others
It gets a little frustrating when people say its "immaculate" though when you have a look at it (and spend 45-1hr travelling), it has had panels repaired, replaced engines, other parts of the body damaged etc that were never mentioned

The sooner I find one the better, but I wont rush into buying something if im not 100%

Sounds like some must have been made on a Friday or at the Ford factory

Its very hard these day the find a car that hasnt had a repair at a panelshop of some kind. Most things can be rectified very quickly and easily so dont be offput by a minor detail on a previous repair. I flew to Sydney for mine and found out the carpet had a common wear mark, broken mirror and numerous dints. I hassled the guy over it and got coin taken off the price. All items easily fixed...well maybe except the carpet but that can be changed and a couple of hours which I will be doing.

I agree that it is hard to find a car a few years old without any panel repair but the issue is the cars I have looked at have had major repairs which were never disclosed. Coming from an insurance background I can spot these a mile away.

I dont mind travelling for the right car, but hate being stuffed around
