So the chrome trim arrived after $102 BUT it needs a clip and bit of plastic to connect it to the washer end..guess how much Subaru want for a clip and piece of plastic......$210!!!!!
Might be time to get creative lol

Chrome trim sorted with some cable ties, a piece of plastic tubing and some araldite! All works a treat and stil functions and cost me a whole $9.95 instead of $221 for the bits from Subaru...lol...what a win! Thanks for the tips guys, nice one.

Mats are now sorted aswell, cheers mate!

Now I need a full set of aero or moulded splash guards for the wagon. Any out there or does anyone know where I can get some from?

It's only because we copy-pasted European law on that one where the washers are required to wash off salt that can crystalise on the lens and refract light into oncoming drivers eyes. We don't have that problem in Australia, but we have to have the washers anyway because it's the LAW!

The only thing we really find useful here from the HID laws are the motorised dipping of the lights when the backend is under load such as when towing, again to stop lights dazzling oncoming drivers as the angle of the car tips them upward.
I was going to procrastinate, but I put it off...
