WTB Ezy-FLASH Pro

Wanted, Ezy-FLASH Pro.

I have a stock 08 Manual GT SpecB, so ideally an Ezy-Flash Pro with exactly those Maps.

*But if none are for sale, I'm willing to buy the unit from someone who has different maps.*
Chiptourque are out of stock of the Units, so at least I'll have one. Then the guys at Chiptourque will email me the correct maps (for $s).

Nick2jz below is asking $550 incl postage, but he hasn't been online in over a month. I'm keen to get one soon.

Hmm, just did some more research. If I understand right, you can 'unlock' the Ezy-Flash Pro from a vehicle and use it on another vehicle (ie sell it). But that returns the mapping back to stock before unlocking (video below).

The guys who have one of these would probably know this anyway. But I didn't know about this 'lock' feature, so just FYI if you didn't know (won't be much use to me unless it's unlocked).

I've got one laying around that is unlocked from my car, it has a ChipTorque tune on it which did 175kw at the wheels on my 07 TbSTI. The current tune on it is fairly rubbish (Kido reckons its way too lean).

Let me know if you are interested though. Cheers.

You would probably be better off with a KiDo tune :D

Yeah, after not getting a reply from Chiptorque regarding a tune for my car, I read the KiDo threads (all 50+ pages). That changed my mind :) .
I think Matt mentioned you specifically regarding your experience with Chiptorque tunes (vs KiDo), but I didn't need any more convincing.

My Tactrix should be here soon 8) . So I think I should delete this WTB thread.
