NO LONGER WTB: MY08/MY09 GTB or TBSTI

Postby garthos » Thu Feb 07, 2013 7:42 pm

Currently on the lookout for a Black, manual, less than 100K Kms, MY08 or MY09 GTB or TBSTI - preferably sedan but would consider a wagon.

I'm in Sydney but willing to travel if it ticks all the boxes.

Seen a couple come and go on carsales over the last few months, but now that I'm ready to purchase its tumbleweeds and crickets :(

I'll also be selling my current MY09 2.5i black manual heritage sedan - 57k Kms, so will put something in the For Sale section as well.

Hopefully something pops up soon as I'm getting extremely antsy in my pantsy for my dream ride :D

Cheers Guys.

Yeh looked at these 2 very closely, I'm being really fussy now but was hoping for something more toward the lower end of the KMs travelled scale - I do have a little time on my side, I'm just being impatient as I want it NOW!!

Haha, funny you say that - after looking at Geno's GenV Wagon here http://forum.liberty.asn.au/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=19735&hilit=genV - I was pretty darn tempted - still am if I'm being honest but my gut tells me to stick with the Gen4 as Ive wanted this upgrade for so long now.

Whats your budget btw?

Budget isnt really an issue, more so that it ticks all the boxes as I want to hold onto it for awhile so I'm happy to spend what it takes (within reason) to find the right Lib.

Thanks for including the carsales links - Ive set up an auto email alert from Carsales so I should be notified as soon as any others are added :)

I am moving mine on shortly. Auto though with 66K. Mature owner, will suit a fastidious purchaser. Priced well also.

There will be some photos no doubt posted shortly in the Sydney photo shoot thread by Jack on this forum.

Soooooo.... I caved - MY10 Manual GT Wagon (in BLAAAAAACK) on its way, should be here next week.

Could not do the sedan... but damn, those Gen5 Wagons have grown on me and with a few bits and pieces - can look pretty damn good!

Will be in touch with Phat to line up the first bunch of mods I have in mind.

Well.... ever get that 'dicked around' feeling from a used car salesman? its unheard of I know...... :x Late last week after paying deposit I was informed that they had misplaced the service log book and blah blah, the previous owner probably still has them, blah, blah they should be able to find it if not would get me a new one fully stamped from the Narellan Subaru - problem is I spoke to Narellan Subaru and the last service was done in April 2011.

Pissed off right now and I'm giving them until midday tomorrow to sort out the log books or I'm going to walk away.

If I didn't have this headache to deal with, I'd probably be asking for your number.

If things don't work out, I'll PM you...

Cheers mate
