A/C Air compressor for gen 3 '03 RX 2.5ltr

Hey guys, as the title suggests,
I'm after air compressor as my current one has gone kaput!

Are air compressors a universal fit with subaru's? Ie gen IV fit gen III? Etc etc

I would not have an idea the value of them for new/ used.

any help would be greatly appreciated.
