the car was in a front end accident the old owner showed me photos, when the car got repaired the sti lip wasn't replaced =( sad i know but yeah!

Insurance should have covered that unless the owner paid out of pocket for the repairs. But I hope you were given a steep discount considering it's $600+ for a new lip.
