Hi all,
Just putting it out there but in the next couple of months I will require a small car, preferrably a hatch back, to take to the train station.
My girlfriend and I have bought a house at Glenmore Park out near Penrith and I don't really want to leave White Lightning at the station every day so my gf will be taking over the daily drive in the Lib and we will be selling her 2006 Impreza to save some dosh. (If anyone wants to buy it let me know, it's in fantastic condition with the exception of a couple of scratches here and there).
We will be living about 20mins from Emu Plains train station and the bus takes forever to get to Penrith station hence the need for a little run about the get me to Emu Plains.
I'm only looking at spending $4000 to $5000. So here are the preferences:
Hatchback - 1.6L to 2.0L
Good condition - Doesn't need to be perfect as it will be parked at Emu Plains station in the dust bowl over near the quarry
Prefer manual.
Ideally have the CV's and timing belts changed already.
If you know of/have anything let me know, like I said, it won't be until after we move and get settled in, so maybe around the end of May we will be ready to buy.

Car(s): Steel Silver MY10 GT Wagon + 1985 Subaru Sherpa
Mods: (GT) HKS Panel Filter. The HKS I put in the MY10 is the same filter I took out of my MY05 GT. So yes, they do fit. Custom leather heel pad to minimise carpet wear in the drivers footwell. Slotted front rotors. (Sherpa) 14'' 6 Spoke mags, Chrome Gear Shift (sick!), Alloy Pedals (sicker!), new positive and negative battery terminals, Alpine cda-9827 H/U, JBL GT 6x9's boxed and mounted (sickest!), Kicker DS650.2 component speakers mounted in the footwells in flibreglass pods, Alpine MRP-F200 4 channel amp (4x40wRMS), Rebadged with hektik chrome eBay badges, STi stickers for more powaaaa, "leather" handbrake boot, recarpetted with grey/black car carpet from Bunnings, sick Clarke Rubber boot mat, polished and waxed.
