EOI: Steel Brake Lines << CANCELLED >>

EOI: Steel Brake Lines << CANCELLED >>

Postby overl0ad » Wed Apr 15, 2009 12:58 am

Ok, so from the other tread, here's the EOI for the brake line group buy.

So they are DOT approved so I’m guessing that they will meet ADR standards (could someone more knowledgeable then me let me know?) so they have the plastic thingy over the lines.

Each set contains 6 lines which will do a complete GenIV. This covers 2.0i, 2.0R 2.5i, 2.0T 2.5T 3.0 3.0R

I don't know if they will work with other gens. I don't know if they will work with the brembos, I don't see why not, but am not certain.

Goodridge lines are USD$145 + post
StopTech lines are USD$200 + post

Difference? Honestly, I don't know. But I do know that StopTech make one of the best kits available on the market and that goodridge make lines for car/bicycles/motorcycles, so they're not a small player.

We’re trying to work out postage now. But I don't think it'll be that much as I’m looking to use USPS. Or get a Mexican to row a boat over...

So, who's in? Please let me know which you're interested in.

Note: some of this stuff has a lead time from order. So don't shoot me if they don't turn up immediately. As for payment, I’m happy to take suggestions as to how you guys want to handle this.

Edit: fixed the 400000 spelling erros

Gerald - any news on these mate?

I wanna know if the Goodridge lines will def work on the STi brembo's. If yes, do you still have some? And what cost to ship (I'm assuming that's to you from o/s)

Are these the ones you're talking about or? (I'm a newb at this so bare with me while I'm learning eh) I note in the pic that there is 4, but you mentioned 6 in another post... (confused!)

Thanks

Is there enough interest for a group buy yet? I'm pretty keen for some brake lines 8)

Goodridge are one of the few brands that are ADR approved.

I didn't hear anything about this EOI group buy so i've just ordered my set from HERE

It cost me $229 delivered. I'd rather ray $30 extra for a single purchase and get them now rather than wait for the group buy.

i posted somewhere that this was canned.

esp since i think troy has them anyways, i didn't see the point in getting them in if another vendor has them for sale already.

Oh ok, i didn't see that post. I would have thought the cancellation would get posted up on this EOI topic, but that's just me  That way you don't get people asking if its still on, but i guess now we know.
