I think the Group A set is supposed to work with the factory belts.

Keen on them 3 x piece set if they are same size, not undersized like GFB and others

see fella's size does matter!!

Now I assume there is no issue fitting these on the mighty B4 is there?

How much for these delivered to 2221 Sydney?

the main and alternator ones will fit, not sure about the power steering one. if you have a quick look and visually confirm that the power steering pully is bolted on, then it's all good.

postage by "express post satchel" is abit over $20.

but i quoted $15 for postage, so that's what you pay.

=)

edit: they are not under-drive

Maybe a silly question, but what does this mean?

Basically - means less drivetrain loss but your accessories won't be at full power at idle.

Are there any problems associated with under driving the alternator and power steering pump when using a Power-up Pulley Kit?
No, the ratios are only reduced by about 15% on the alternator, and 20% on the others. This means that you get full charge at 1000 RPM instead of 850 RPM which will only cause problems if you plan to drive your car at idle for long periods of time with the fan, high beams, air conditioning, rear demister and stereo full blast.

The reason for under-driving is that from the factory the accessories (alternator, A/C, power steering) are designed to run at almost 100% at or near idle, so at high RPM they are causing excessive and unnecessary drag. Reducing the drive ratio by 15% doesn't have a large impact at idle, but at say 6000 RPM, 15% becomes a much larger proportion and the reduction in drag is much more noticeable.

They are the same size/circumference as the OEM ones, so, they will not affect your alternator or power steering.

They are simply lighter, therefore they spin up quicker.

nope.

everyone is waiting for someone else to do it first.

this is also geared to someone who is more preformance orientated, but wants to keep a low profile, which is one of the reasons why they are black. :)

I dont no if my pulleys are the same weights are the ones listed here but mine are GFB pulleys and makes a slight noticeable difference in acceleration through the whole rev range, but doesnt make that much of a difference. But would defiantly recommend it if you have already completed most of the other mods listed throughout this site.
