NO need to remove any steering parts and you cant cut the bush out

......................................................................................

as much as this sounds like a hard job (NOT SO) you just need a basic socket set

*first loosen wheel nuts (just crack loose) jack the front of the car up and drop on a pair of stands

*remove the front wheels

*remove the sway bar links from the arms (and the later models will have to remove the head light tilt link rod on the passanger side*EASY*)

*remove the 3 bolts that hold the triangle plate under the rear control arm

*remove the main bolt holding the bush in (you will find this under the above)

*remove the 12mm bolt on the ball joint (just behind the brake rotor on the inner side of the ball joint) which will alow you the drop the outer arm (including ball joint) out of the hub

*remove the nut and bolt holding the front arm bush in

*now the arm will just pop out with a litte force

*take the arm down to you local suspension or mechanic shop and have them press the bushes out and press the new ones in (about $50 max) IT will pay to prearrange this with the shop so you not stuck out without a car for to long

* repeat all above in reverse and your good to go

*get a good wheel alignment and happy motoring

:D

Guys

as you know i have access to a very large range of performance parts so i have many choices, when it comes to these types of lower arm bushes i looked at what was on offer and the pros and cons of each product

after looking at all that was on offer i was left with two to pick from so naturally i took both

one was a full metal race type pyro ball set up (used in my car) and where quite pricey and the other is whats on offer here which was used in Leo's car

now both are still as good as the day they where installed (about 16-18 months ago)

so if your asking yourself are these worth it for a few extra dollars over what is on offer from local companys??? i would have to say YES given iv see other brands that are 18 months old and i tell you they dont look as good as the day they where installed

i stilll belive these should be one of your first suspension mods

I have to say that I also have these bushes installed for around 12 months now & I have to agree with phat, they still look like new even after all this time.

I checked out my sisters standard bushes last night & they were also stuffed & her car has a max of 40k on it & is totally stock, so that just shows how crap the stock ones are.
