Hi Cal

i have installed over 30 sets of these in all the range of Liberty's with out one complaint

you mechanic obviously didd'nt read my very simply instructions that i wrote on the pack in black marker

SMALL SHIM ON THE TOP AND THE MIDDLE SIZE ON THE BOTTOM (SO YOU SHOULD HAVE 4 OF THE LARGEST SHIMS LEFT OVER)

as for the light steering you will get that with the largest shim on top with almost no toe

as for the ride height the bush "can not" change the ride hight

the extra road noise was clearly out lined in the first post. As stated these bushes will give LESS road noise that all the other options out there

If your after very little noise you could go to Subaru and have stock bushs fitted at almost 3x the price

New tyres will always ride a bit firmer that worn out tyres

PS; if you had a problem you could have made a simple call to me and i would have helped out over the phone

Regards
Michael

It astounds me how some mechanics can't follow straightforward instructions from their customers, as if they think they know better and will just do things their own way instead.

If I make a special request I expect and am willing to pay for extra time spent.

It is infuriating when you go to pick up your car and they have totally skipped a task due to a trivial "issue" which could have been resolved at the time by simply calling the customer. Instead they put you in uncomfortable position of having to kick up a fuss then mess around rebooking the car in, then wondering if the guys in the shop all think of you as "that PITA customer"

One of my friends runs his own workshop now and I get a lot of stuff done there. Or I do it myself.

Michael,

Do the zerosports allow adjustment of static caster similar to the whiteline/SuperPro product (correct me if I'm wrong but I dont think the original LCA bushes in this thread do?)

Cal, - Intersting alignment specs? What did you request?

Hey PHAT,

Do you still have any of the original LCA that you bought and helped install for some of the other guys? I was hoping to get a set of those (rather than the zero sports). Are you talking about the zero sports LCAs arriving in a couple of weeks? or the original LCA bushes before you got zero sports LCA bushes?

Cheers

Hey Michael,

Lovin my bushes! now with them installed and good wheel alignment the car has heaps less understeer.

Is there any other bushes I can replace to tighten up the front end? I'm thinking maybe even a front sway bar

According to Jim....(hey wasn't that a TV show? ) upgrading the front swaybar will bring back the understeer.

I'll list you what I have bought for the front which hopefully will keep the understeer reduced.

Phats Front control arm lower bushes
Whiteline $50 Front control arm upper bushes (suggested by Jim)
Cusco front swaybar endlinks.

I'm sure there are a hell of a lot of bushes up front that can be changed, if you decide to get an upgraded front swaybar and want to go the extra mile upgrade endlinks, bushes and mounts. PHAT can get you all of this I'm sure.
