I have a MY08 STI, so I have the Bilstein shocks and STI Pink springs.
I'm looking to drop the car to a level which is pretty much exactly as what is shown in the picture above.
If these are S-Tech's, I'll be interested in a set...
Tony, where these springs modified at all to suit the GT-B above?
WOW it looks clean in that pic
These are the Phat GT edition Tein S-tech's, you can only order them through Phat GT, a vendor on this forum.
Luke, is it are daily or do you track it??
I had these changed out recently and replaced with are set of custom valved Cusco Zero 2E coilover, much better ride if your after something with are little more adjustment with both height and dampener.
These spring were sold to another forum member in Canberra.
Hey Tony,
The car is daily driven - no track work.
I have been considering a set of coilovers for the last little while, as I wanted the ability to adjust the damper and ride height.
The drop in the photo above on S-Tech's looks good though, so I may be happy with a set of springs - depending on how they rode.
In response to the photo above, you put in a a comment on page 7:
Senator: "Phat did a little R&Dto get front down, worked a treat, no difference in stiffness, still smooth."
Sentator: "the phat tein a best suited to the spec b or 06 &07 tb sti's or the 08 sti, with a bit of modifcation."
PHAT: "Shane dont make it sound so doggy, i did a professional Chip Foose style fine adjustment on the Teins (front only) we are not talking whole coils here but centermeters off the end of the spring"
These comments are what led me to believe that PHAT did some sort of modification to this customers S-Tech's in order to get that ride height... Or is this the standard ride height that the S-Tech's give on an STI'?
How did you find them? Was the reason that you swapped them out because of ride comfort?
