Hi Jim, the way you are going mate I am just going to give my bank manager and accountant your details so they can just speak to you about where all my finances are going.

I have been looking into TEIN for a while now and the more research I do, the more confusing it gets. There seems to be a different set up every time I go to their site.

What is the Tein Kit you are selling mate??? Flex, Basic Flex, Super Flex or Mono Flex

Cheers

It's too late for me as I've already arranged with my work to have part of my salary get direct deposited into Phat's bank account.

As the title says, the coilovers are the Tein Type Flex. So just the first 'Flex' you have listed.

what size wheels do you have on?

I was running 225/40-18's in those pics.

CappZ wrote:hard to see as you have a black car, black tires, and the shadow in between is also black, but aprox. how far is the tire from the guard? (this is for the springs)

Unfortunately depending on the tire size, the space between the tire and the guard will vary. So it's not accurate to use that as a reference for how much it lowered the car. Just deduct 25-30mm in front and 25mm in back on your current ride height and you should get a rough idea on how springs will effect your Lib.

thanks for the information, i have the same size wheels and tyres so should be the same.

LOL! Alright, that's enough off-topic banter folks. If you want to discuss your karmic allotments in life please start your own threads. :P This thread is for people interested in springs/coilovers.

might be a stupid question but do tein have a set of springs that are a bit lower than these, at least another inch or even half an inch

Not that I'm aware of. Although there might be other brands that go lower, I probably wouldn't recommend going any lower without switching to coilovers. Too much trouble attached. But if you're picky about your ride height like me, I would really think about investing in coilovers. You can set it to whatever height you want, and still be able to raise or lower when the situation calls for it. Otherwise you find yourself going from brand to brand trying to find the ride height that you're happy with.
