Just until Phat GT gets bored of ordering. :D Otherwise it's open ended. However keep in mind Tein raises their prices by like 7-9% every year regardless, so you'll be paying more each year you wait.

Woodduck wrote: these work with the exsisting 3.0R spec B setup yeah? Just change the spring...

Certainly! Just be sure to specify that when you order.

wixy wrote:I just want to clarify that if I swapped these for the stock springs in an 05 3.0r-b, ride comfort and handling would not be reduced?

Realistically, as Woodduck mentioned, you have to expect a bit of reduced ride comfort when reducing the suspension travel. However the ride will feel more settled and tamed. No more bouncing when you go over a hump. Plus you'll tackle those corners with a lot more confidence and control.

chugga15 wrote:just getting a bit sick of feeling like my front suspension is going to snap every time i go round a corner!!! need something that helps the stability a little.

How many km's on your Lib? It might just be that your struts are on their way out. But the only reason why one needs to specify Bilstein or not is because the Bilsteins raise the fronts by about 5-10mm. So the springs need to be adjusted to accommodate that difference.

But there have been quite a few people who fitted the S.Techs on non-Bilsteins and the ride is still comfortable and performance is not that far off.

Although I'd like to say you are free to pick whatever option that best suits you, I'm gonna have to be honest and say I would lose any little respect I had left for you if you didn't go coilovers. :P

LOL! I kid! I kid! :D

If anything, get the S.Techs, especially if you're attending track day. Much much much better ride and performance compared to the pinks.

I am interested in the springs to suit MY09 Heritage (N/A 2.5) sedan - question for those who have run the springs before, how is clearance with the springs installed, no major issues with driveways etc? Sorry, am new to Liberties and previously had an Impreza that was a bit too low, want to avoid this again :?

Unless your driveway (or any driveway) is super steep, clearance should be good on a stock setup.

But introduce an STi lip into the equation and it'll get a bit tricky. Steep driveways now need to analysed to see if it needs to be attacked from an angle, and some room may need to be left between the front bumper and those parking lot cement blocks. Heck, some people have had clearance issues even with the STi pink springs. Just gotta be a bit cautious in some scenarios, but not to the point of paranoia.

Thanks Arith, I intend on getting the lip eventually but might see how I go with the springs for a while first! Thanks for the advice.
EDIT - Newbie to purchasing from forums/group buys, what's the go with payment for the parts? :)

hard to see as you have a black car, black tires, and the shadow in between is also black, but aprox. how far is the tire from the guard? (this is for the springs)
also what size wheels do you have on?

I was running 225/40-18's in those pics.

Unfortunately depending on the tire size, the space between the tire and the guard will vary. So it's not accurate to use that as a reference for how much it lowered the car. Just deduct 25-30mm in front and 25mm in back on your current ride height and you should get a rough idea on how springs will effect your Lib.

UPDATE - Phat just heard from Tein in Japan. His custom springs are only available for the Bilstein equipped Libertys. For all non-Bilstein Libertys, he's currently researching an alternate brand that will suit you folks. Sorry!
