Naw, it's all good. :D I just wish more people would use the search function to find what they're after, and then post up questions about things they aren't clear about. There are too many posts asking the most basic questions over and over again. Besides, this is not my thread anyway. I only started this on behalf of Phat GT. :P

i think as far as springs go,going on photos of kick ass libs on this site with these springs, should be a relatively solid and safe mod barring some driveways what do you think?

On paper, the car will appear relatively low. But in reality, it's really not that low compared to other cars. Sure, you'll have to be a bit more gentle on non-flat driveways (angle it in and out instead of going straight out), don't take speed bumps with wild abandon, and when you park in stalls with the cement block in front, don't drive your car all the way over it. Otherwise it's pretty safe and practical. When I had the S.Techs, I had little to no issues with scraping, and that's even with the STi lip.

The ride is still comfortable. Handling, stability, etc are all improved. It's a highly recommended mod from everyone who's installed the Teins.

s tech have been fitted to my car for the last 30k....... ride is alot more comfortable then pinks, the stance is spot on, its still speed hump safe....... bear in mind its not the ride height that stops you going over speed humps, its the amount of over hang the lip has over the front wheels.

of course supplied and fitted by Phat Gt.........

yeah mate, fully LEBO style.......

Phat did a little R&Dto get front down, worked a treat, no difference in stiffness, still smooth.

MY08 TB STI come fitted with STI bilstein, which a valved differently to the bilsteins on Spec b's, so tein needs to come up with another variation for the 08 tb sti models

What's the difference in the valving? Considering I can access both Sti Billies and pink springs, as well as the Phat TEINs? Yet, currently I have the spec B bilsteins?

Shane dont make it sound so doggy, i did a professional Chip Foose style fine adjustment on the Teins (front only) we are not talking whole coils here but centermeters off the end of the spring

off which model????

only MY 08 are sti bilsteins.

not sure of the exact specification of the sti bilsteins, but they are a softer ride when compared to standard spec b.

the phat tein a best suited to the spec b or 06 &07 tb sti's or the 08 sti, with a bit of modifcation.

btw don't waste your time with the pink springs far too soft and ride is shit house.
