Hey Guys

Hypertec have released a new Metalic Cat Convertor that flows 50% more then the standard cats.

These flow around 525cfm and meet obdII and CARB compliance.

these are 3 inch cats

it says "for race applications only" on the site...
does this mean that they're too loud for everyday use?

Its not that they are loud. ,, they are no louder then any other metalic cat on the market.. reason i say Race use only is that all the cars these days have differnet emmsions standards and there are so many cats out there that need to be exact. These do meet the CARB emmsions though which is a US Based standard. To give u an exmaple, i have tested this on the WRXs and no check engine light comes on which is good. Some cats out there wont work on cars such as the new XR6 turbos as they are now Euro 4 Spec, and no cat on the market meets those standards.. Not even the original Metal Cat
