Without a tune ( maf scaling etc etc ) you will see no real performance gain? just a nice sound coming from the intake..some say it makes the turbo spool quicker? but hard to quantify ....

Several guys on the forum run the cobb I would recommended it myself...its a good kit :)

My suggestion is maybe combine the intake with some other simple mods to make the car bit more alive? say turbo inlet?

There's a wide range of choices....all depending on what you have already on the car? want to achieve with the car? and your $$$$$$$ budget

and the odd chance of running lean too, depending if you have any mods without a tune

My car originally came with Perrin intake but was taken off to get roadworthy, now it's just sitting in the garage. Would adding the intake on a stock car cause it to run lean? I have held out until I can get a tune (won't be until a while :( )

No. Any intake requires a retune
