No way I'd be doing the coast road down that way though

Smythie post up a route.
Like this from Heathcote to Albion Park? (swingn still has to show me this Swamp Rd he has mentioned a number of times)

That said, swingn's last post sounds interesting

I was just looking at google maps and saw that there are two ways to get to Singleton.. yes I know there isnt much there but I'd guess it would be a goods day driving??

Go to a pub or somthing at Singleton then come back there is what seems a main way on highway 69 but then an alternative way that looks MUCH more funn!

If we did like the main way there then the spirited drive home.. that could be fun?? but a meet place would be like Windsor then wisemans ferry for the people more north I think, so people more south wouldnt be able to do it... :(

I'm not sure..just putting somthing out there.. In the end the thing that the most people can get to would be the best thing to do...

You can come back the alternate "more fun" way. I'll take Highway 69

Seriously, both routes are top fun but there is just something about Putty Rd that has me preferring that route over George Downs Drive/Broke-Wollombi Rd.

Early last year a few did a lap similar to the reverse of what it seems you are describing

Haven't been on it for a few years (Since I stopped riding) so it may have gotten rather ordinary... Last time I was on it, it was no different to some of the back / country roads you would experience on the way out to Bathurst.

Pfft... Everyone wants to do a drive where it suits them :P So I don't think we're going to come to any real agreement anytime soon.

Let's just do a meet like I suggested & Regional Park :) Get a some good numbers there (& hopefully some fresh faces) & yeah... Would be most good :D

Symthie... We'll have to do the drive (Like we've been talking about for the last few weeks :P ) in the not too distant future... I've really been hanging out for a Robertson Cheese & Bacon Pie :D

I'd be keen for a cruise with you guys. Haven't been on an ASN cruise yet (just the xmas meet). Yet to take the new car for a proper drive...

For those of you coming from abroad (the Mountains, the C.Coast etc), don't worry about the distance. Find someone else coming from the same region and cruise down with them. Makes the long drive that little bit more interesting.

Ok ladies & gents... I shall post up 2 meets.

One for a morning drive through Nasho etc... & another for a BBQ meet out at Western Sydney Regional Park.

Hopefully that will keep everyone happy :D Will also give everyone a few weeks so time can be allocated easily (Hopefully) :D
