Sydney Dyno Day SUNDAY 23rd August

I'm hoping this is the correct method to go about this, apologies if I've gone about this the wrong way
I'm thinking of organising a Dyno day if there are say more than 10 or so interested parties in Miranda in Sydney's mighty SHIRE :P .
As some of you know I occasionally do custom tuning for a place called Port Hacking Automotive so I have some pull plus the owner is a mate of a couple of decades and then some.
I'm currently running a dyno day there for the NSW WRX club in late August and we are offering full data logs of the runs with the numerical data either printed or sent along via email or downloaded via FTP from a site. I could do the same for you guys of course. In fact with all the software we have we can pretty much tell you whatever you want to know tune wise if time permits.

The Dyno is only a few weeks old and its a Mainline 4WD beasty. You can't fudge to much on these guys there's no temp probe to place up against your exhaust to 'cough' boost those figures and its very consisitent. On my 340 KW STI I see less than 10 KW usually < 5 on different days which is impressive. My 08 6spd Lib GT wagon pulls 125 in stock form so it is quite realistic but with this brand they're always lower than the dyno dynamics. The Dyno itself has full OBD datalogging as well as datastream monitoring of Autronic Haltec and Motec (and some more that I haven't used) and there are all sorts of probes and crap to connect to all the ridiculous componets in your engine bay for monitoring pressure temp voltages logic etc etc so you can plot whatever you want.(you'd be there all day setting it up though of course ). Oh it has dual Screens or actually three if you count the 5 gas analyser that I just setup. Theres even an option to display your favourite Jpg as a background behind your power run but of course this has to be worksafe....during business hours LOL

Date & Time
Up to you guys, barring two already booked out weekends one in August and one week in September where I slip down for some boarding at Perisher with my whippersnappers 8)
Let me know what you think or if you have any suggestions

Mark

Hey Mark, how much for a power run if I went down individually OR with a few mates, say 3-4 cars?

Dates that cater for everyone might be abit too hard, but some of us are pretty flexible.

Let me know about the pricing. Having just had the car tuned, I'm very interested in other dyno read outs.

The problem with say only two or three cars is you then have to have people there to operate the dyno move cars in and out strap them down etc realistically you need 3 staff minimum on hand, so it doesn't really work out $$ wise even to cover the staff costs - especially if its held on a weekend. If you held it on a weekday when staff are normally there it involves pulling them off other probably more profitable jobs. This place has 7 hoists. One or two you can get away with cause you can juggle the work around a bit schedule things etc. I hope that makes sense and doesn't sound like a cop out but I'm pre-empting the response cause I know how it works, btw I get zero out of these days apart from knowledge and experience oh and getting out of the house :P .
I'd sort of prefer to do it on a Saturday or Sunday morning or afternoon that way it works well that way if theres only a small number it breaks even and everyones happy. Of courseIf some individual wants a power run at a time of their choice let me know and I'll find out an approx $ figure
Oh yeah please include your preferences for either a saturday or Sunday then if theres enough interested I'll supply a list of potential dates for everyone to chose from
