I'm not sure, I think Jim was suggesting lunch-ish meetup.

Jim has offered to drive me to Penrith, so it's all good, but thanks for the offer :wink:

Well, you could take the 5:24pm train from Platform 1 @ Epping to Strathfield and then the 5:53 from Platform 3 @ Strathfield which will get you to platform 9 3/4 at Penrith by 6:27.

And at that time of day, you are unlikely to get mugged.

Mind you, the website that gave me this information was the same one that suggested I walk to Cockatoo Island.
