Anyone coming through North Sydney on the way? Just realised its a $60 cab ride each way to Homebush! Thought it was a LOT closer than that!

you can catch a couple of trains (North Sydney to Lidcombe then the shuttle to Homebush) if you want. If you aren't game to catch the trains home I'd be willing to give you a lift back to where you are staying

mate you can get the train, the station you need to get off on is Olympic park homebush, that will be 50 meters down the rd from where we a all meeting

yes, catch anything heading west, not north. ie towards Blacktown. Make sure the train is stopping at Lidcombe - that is where you change to the shuttle to get to Olympic Park

Nothing from North Sydney stops at Homebush (the station immediately west of Strathfield). The closest would be Lidcombe or Strathfield.

I'd suggest trying to get the 5:40 from North Sydney if you can make it. The next that stops at Lidcombe would be the 5:56
