Resort Open Day in Jindabyne

Dec 13 we are having an Open Day at the Lake Crackenback Resort where I work. It all kicks off at 11am with heli rides, kayaking, fly fishing demo, a free BBQ and a whole bunch of local arts and craft stalls.

The main event of the day is the Activate Mountain Bike Challenge. A free to enter cross-country race with $300 for 1st in both Open Men and Women's divs. There is also a Beginners div for those who just want to have a crack.

Be good to see any of you. A bit far from Sydney but a good reason to stretch to legs of the old Lib down the hiway from Canberra.

Kev I'll be looking for you both in the car park and on the start line!!

Damn, I have my work Christmas party the day/night before but you don't know how tempted I am to just have a quiet one at that and then head up to the mountains for the day !

That's an easy one Kev. Stay off the XXXX, keep your job and avoid sexual harrasment/bagging from the boys, wake up without a hangover, have a nice drive, go for a ride and maybe win some cash. Beats getting wasted, doing something/someone you wish you hadn't, getting crap from the boys for the next 12 months, and then waking up hungover broke and with a bad taste in your mouth. At least that's how my RAAF christmas parties went.
