Postby swingn » Wed Sep 03, 2008 12:38 pm

Hey All!

Details for this Saturday are as follows:

Meet at Kirawee Shell (Princes Hwy cnr The Boulevard) at 8:00am for an 8:30am departure. This will give everyone a chance to double check tyre pressures, top up fuel & grab a quick bit to eat.

From there we will head down through the Royal National Park & stop at Stanwell tops for a coffee. After that it will be up to everyone.

If anyone wants to get in contact with me, send me & PM.

Cheers
Matt

I would take it easy up there gents. No point risking your own safety NOT to mention others on the road at that time.

You should do all this testing in a controlled enviroment, like at a TRACK DAY... haha

Heading through the Nasho is always good fun. Like everything on the road, its not ment to be a race, but its fun going through the twisty stuff.

If you would all prefer, we can call it a Nasho cruise :P

I always say, you should drive (& ride from that matter) to your ability. Never past it. Nasho is a pretty challenging road but can be enjoyed even if your taking it nice & easy. Slow in fast out of the corners & you'll never have a problem.

Louey, you know I'm keen for a track day :D Is 100% the best environment to test out your car & your abilities. I've got my fingers crossed the next one won't be too far off.

YES DAD..........

Louey is right guys, its about having fun in a safe way and not testing out your NCAP rating..... trying to prove something

as swingn said the roads a tight and limit in some area is 80 to 100km/h, but again the road surface can be harsh so don't risk it.

Oh its still on guys :D

Now remember, although I'm always keen for a fang, it is a public road. So no silly business! Slow in fast out is the way to go, or just enjoy the park. Whatever guys, its ment to be fun after all :D

As I said in the first post, it would be best to be entering the park before 9:00am to avoid traffic. Obviously the earlier the better.

For me its pretty easy because I'm close but for those of you who are willing to make the journey, it may make things... Well early :p

For now, I'd say meet at Kirawee Shell (Corner of the Princes Hwy & the Boulevard) at 8:00am for an 8:30am departure. Also gives everyone a chance to fill up & check tyre pressures.

From there we head down through Nasho & stop at Stanwell Tops for a bite to eat. From there, I'm keep to head down the coast road if people are keen. I know of a few great roads further down south + you can get awesome pies at Robertson.

Sound good...??? I'm open to suggestions. The more people we have the better :D

Markii & Senator... If you guys don't make an appearance I'll be most upset! :x
