Hi fellow Subaru Enthusiasts,

SubyClub's annual Hunter Valley cruise is returning for it's 6th year running and we'd love to extend the invitation to our Ozfoz friends as usual :)

This is your chance to be a part of SubyClub history.

You are welcome to tag along even if you are not in a Subaru - Friends and family also welcome, remember - the day is child friendly!

Date: Saturday May 30th 2015. Mark it in your diary ! You have plenty of notice, so no excuse for not coming !

Meet up: The old toll gates at Berowra on the Pacific Hwy (1049 Pacific Hwy, Cowan for GPS location).

Time: 8.30am meet up for a 9am departure.

Image

Destination: Harrigans Irish pub, Pokolbin NSW.

We will be stopping Peats Ridge, so anyone from Central Coast / Newcastle feel free to meet up with the group there. The meet spot will be "Flynns Road" just after the exit from the F3. There is a signpost "Australia Walkabout Wildlife park" there.

Image

Details: Leave from Hornsby and head to Brooklyn along the old pacific hwy. Cross the Hawkesbury River and get on to the F3. Continue along the F3 until the Peats Ridge exit. From there we exit the F3 and continue along Peats Ridge road until Central Mangrove, where we follow George Downs Drive through Buckety and take the Great North Road through the state forest. When we reach Wollombi (where we'll stop for some pics, drink and toilet break) we will then take Paynes Crossing Road which will take us through more of the Pokolbin state forest (Twisties), until we get to Broke and turn on to Broke road to enter the Hunter Valley, and then finally stop at Harrigans Irish Pub on Broke road for lunch. Don't worry, there is plenty of car space!

Meeting at this spot at 9:30am for a 10:00am departure.

Make sure you have a full tank of petrol before leaving, as you will most likely use this entire tank on the round trip.

We will be coming back via Cessnock and the F3, so people can take there appropriate exits from there (central coast etc..) or fill up with more petrol if need be. There are petrol stations on the Old Pacific HWY before the Berowra truck stop meet point - so you can fill up here (98 RON available).

Hope to see you there :)

Haha, smartass ;)

Was only asking because there were only a handful of club lib members there last year.

Keen to see your rig out there again mate.

You're just lucky I'm not bringing my Outback, Shiv, or people will get us mixed up even more than they did before. Lol!

Yeah man, I just had to get this outback. But it is white.

I'll be rocking up tomorrow in the B4 though, so all good.

I'll never get to the height you have on your Outback. I'm tempted to go low, but my wife laughs at me, telling me I'm trying to make a wagon look cool. Haha!

Yup, totally cool. Lol!

I'll rock up next year in the outback, and she can tag along if she wants. Got some work to do with the outback till then.

Far out Jason, my car looked so clean in that pic! Nice one.

Also noticed you weren't sporting the packet this year. Sup with that?
