I know it's early but we thought it'd be a good idea to get this out with plenty of time so everyone has time to make sure they have the weekend free

As with all Suby Club cruises and events, we want to extend the invitation to our Liberty.ASN friends and hope that some of you can join us on what is our largest annual event for the year.

Hi NSW MEMBERS.

SubyClub's annual Hunter Valley cruise is returning for it's 4th year running!

This is your chance to be a part of SubyClub history. This year we will be joined by professional photographers and videographers !

You are welcome to tag along even if you are not in a Subaru - Friends and family also welcome, remember - the day is child friendly!

Date: Saturday June 22, 2013. Mark it in your diary ! You have plenty of notice, so no excuse for not coming !

Meet up: The old toll gates at Berowra on the Pacific Hwy (1049 Pacific Hwy, Cowan for GPS location).

Time: 8.30am meet up for a 9am departure.



Destination: Harrigans Irish pub, Pokolbin NSW.

We will be stopping Peats Ridge, so anyone from Central Coast / Newcastle feel free to meet up with the group there. The meet spot will be "Flynns Road" just after the exit from the F3. There is a signpost "Australia Walkabout Wildlife park" there.



Details: Leave from Hornsby and head to Brooklyn along the old pacific hwy. Cross the Hawkesbury River and get on to the F3. Continue along the F3 until the Peats Ridge exit. From there we exit the F3 and continue along Peats Ridge road until Central Mangrove, where we follow George Downs Drive through Buckety and take the Great North Road through the state forest. When we reach Wollombi we will then take Paynes Crossing Road which will take us through more of the Pokolbin state forest (Twisties), until we get to Broke and turn on to Broke road to enter the Hunter Valley, and then finally stop at Harrigans Irish Pub on Broke road for lunch. Don't worry, there is plenty of car space!

Meeting at this spot at 9:30am for a 10:00am departure.

Make sure you have a full tank of petrol before leaving, as you will most likely use this entire tank on the round trip.

We will be coming back via Cessnock and the F3, so people can take there appropriate exits from there (central coast etc..) or fill up with more petrol if need be. There are petrol stations on the Old Pacific HWY before the Berowra truck stop meet point - so you can fill up here (98 RON available).

There will some of us that are staying in the Hunter on the night - Two options, Harrigans pub, or at the Cessnock Hotel.

My mate is on there, and hasn't heard about this shindig.

Rexnet admin have made it clear they don't want anything to do with or be associated with any of our events unfortunately. Both Dylan and i have both had our accounts suspended over there for post up cruise details in the past so we don't bother with the site any more. Obviously any of their members are more than welcome to join us but there's no possibility for us to post any details or info on their site.

it's a shame that their admin make it such an Us v Them mentality when really, we're all one big Subaru community. oh well.
