Dodgy gen 3's dont need apply with track work.... They are too slow..

Yea yes yes my car would have been the slowest ..... Because the motor is blown.... Otherwise, destruction time!!

Next track day..!!

Big hand to Rome for putting the day together... Was a fantastic day! Can't wait to hit the track with you (BRZ not far off now!) & the other guys soon.

& since this is potentially the one & only time I'll ever be top of the table:

Great result Matt and well deserved

That 911 of yours is a weapon - really made my day being in the passenger seat to be honest - the most enjoyable part of my day so thank you

Look forward to catching you shortly.... (Pun intended ;) )

Mick

Great day apart from the music selection over the PA and faulty transponder.

Thanks everyone for coming and making the track day a success, the cooperation made it a very smooth day to run :D Thanks also to Matt (swingn) for giving me tips and pointers on how to run the day and also doing our safety briefing (brought to you by his car club, RDTC!); and also thanks for taking me for a hot lap in the Porsche, was amazing! Didn't get a chance to thank Wakefield but they were great to deal with and pretty much let us run the show without any interference!

I have updated the first post with lap-times and added in the vehicles so you can see the comparison. Pretty impressed with some of those times guys, particularly Pat in the Toyota 86 as he was running complete stock set-up! Makes me excited to see what I can do with my BRZ, especially when it's "slightly" modified 8)

There was also a WICKED race-spec Skyline R32 GTR that was decimating all. Unfortunately he did not want a transponder for lap times but he would have been running 1:05-1:06s I think!!! That thing sounded mental.

I'll be sending out a PM to everyone shortly to organise a little refund due the numbers we had, call it an early Christmas present :)

Pat’s time should also reference the angle the car was when powering out of most corners……...

T'was yet again an awesome day out and great to meet and catch up with a few familiar faces and a few not so fam'.
Mega Kudos to Rome for doing a real pro job at organising and running the day.
Gutted that yet again I was minus my intended purpose built track car my Liberty but was quite happy bouncin about in my diesel family sedan chasing Ed in his 135i.
Jacko and I took some fairly epic photos on my 7D mated to the disgracefully phallic L series zoom lens - shall post the link for them on here shortly. As some of you know Jacko and I are livid about our malfunctioning GoPros so video footage maybe limited or nil this time - sorry...
Again big thanks to Rome and his little helper(s).
Looking forward to the next track day and if I don't turn up in my Liberty by then I shall eat my shoe!!!
