Anyone reckon we should get the ball rolling for a north coast cruise around Feb/March? If we give enough notice we should have at least as many libs in attendance

We watched that bit, but it looked more like dust being flung up more than anything else, and even then it wasn't much. Don't worry about it. That bumper's got loads of scrapes on it already anyway. :)
I was going to procrastinate, but I put it off...

I reckon putty road some good spots for photos, pull over at one of the BBQ sites and do up a big BBQ.
Or Alternativly there's the old wisemans ferry.

Tony, we did have a bit of a scare when we were all overtaking a slow Ford wagon going through the Royal National Park... was coming around a corner when I heard 5-0 over the walkies, looked up and there he was! Tried to subtly slow down from 110km/h

I'd be bang up for that - have always wanted to do those roads and I think a BBQ would be great. May need to start a new thread!

Agreed, super keen, that time frame gives me time to get some more handling mods installed.

Mitch do you have a higher res photo of my car under the bridge? That shot looks brilliant.

Seeing as I missed this cruise I would definitely be keen. Since I lived down south already I like the idea of driving north.

Putty Road on the weekend and most days for that matter is a great place to get caught buy the Highway Pigs .The bike club I ride with has taken it off the "RIDES " list as its become a pig magnet not just for idiots pushing the limits but as a revenue road . Same goes for Wisemans Ferry and the old Pacific Hwy

Just one suggestion for sharing photos and vids from the NSW xmas cruise - we create its own thread in the "Photos and Vids section" of the forums

I can set one up tonight - but more happy for Jack to take the honours given he did a great job of organising the day

Regardless of where you go there's always a chance of police being there.

In terms of a date Im down that way 22nd 26th feb or in anytime in mid April.

Preferences?
Putty road- BBQ at a camping spot stop for some photos along the way. (someone will need to bring the meat, cooking stuff & beer).
Wisemans ferry- wisemans ferry pub for a nicely cooked meal and nice cold beer, shitloads of parking and shouldn't have too many issues with height over the ferry, unless your stupidly low.

Personally I've done wisemans a dozen times and wouldn't mind the change to putty.

I thought about it, but part of what he said makes sense and sometimes it's better for some people not to know.
