Wednesdays are good fun! If you want as many runs as possible then get in early. Last time I went I got in 6 runs before the burnout session (and then left). I might head out depending on how much uni work/actual work I have.

Gonna try to make it to this. Been meaning to send the A5 Sback down the drags ever since I got the Millteks and tune. Timing and engagement of launch control without cocking up the lights is gonna be a mission

I'm keen as long as my car is ready by then (need to get rotors skimmed and pads replaced). Don't see why it won't be though!

Edit: damn I can't make it Mick, just realised that cars under 10.99 seconds need a roll cage...I won't have time to get one of them! 8)

Just practise on a 'private' street before you get out there ;)

I'm not convinced that the launch control in the merc is the best or quickest way to get off the line. I've only got 1 sub 2second 60' time of 1.950 which is a bit slow. I wanna try get down to ~1.8s which other C63 drivers do without L/C.

Best so far is a 12.31 @ 117mph. Highest trap is 118.6mph on a 12.4x second pass. But if I can improve 60' then hopefully I can get slightly lower 12s.

Damn that's quick !

A 1.8 60ft would get you almost a flat 12 with that mph

Let's see how many ppl we can get out there and run some impressive times hopefully

Rome - are you in for sure?

I'm in but no boost launching for me! Oh and I wouldn't be able to get there at 5, I'd be pushing it to get there by 6...

exactly, the mph is good but the start is not. I plan to drop the rear tyre pressures this time around to see if I can get some more grip. Previously I just ran at street pressure, but I hear dropping to ~20something psi might be beneficial?

Up to you but boost launching at about 2500 won't be a problem man

Sujoy - yeah rwd tyre pressure get it down to 18-20 psi and it should get you going

Is this thing stock? I am guessing at 118mph it isn't.

I am assuming it is a c63 AMG. Which i imagine traps about 108-110 stock.
