Sydney cruise 18/11/11

Re: Anyone interested in a Sydney cruise?

Postby Boogs » Tue Nov 01, 2011 7:05 pm

Friday Night 24th Nov is better for me as I have my sisters 50th on the Saturday Night and I'll get shot if I miss that. LOL
[that's if we are talking about that weekend]

I'm a localish to Parramatta/Hills Area, so Dural meet up is all good..
Would be good to put names to faces.

But if everyone chooses Saturday Night all good, there will be a next one.

Galston Gorge is fun by all means, but it's gonna be a short cruise.. Probably want to find some more substantial roads to add to it

For something a little more substantial and exciting there's Bells Line of Road.. Provided we don't get caught behind grandpa in his Epica..

MY-25-GT wrote:An easy place to meet would be the Hungry Jacks/ Car Wash car park at the top of New Line Rd hill, its a striaght run to either the Galston Gorge or Berowra Waters Road from there the roads down to Brookklyn are a lot of fun however not much down there in the way of food or anything after about 6pm. But there will be a few good spots for Photos etc

Good choice for a meeting spot lets make it there. At 8:00pm will update the start the topic
yes i see your point about the food side of things

Yes i like the way you think there's all so the putty road same kinda thing .. but up to if people want to do 70kms each way ..
Epica ..Story time ?

ok for the date i forgot I'm turning 18 on the 13th so that 3 days i have to count out with birthdays sorry guys
and the 25th is the night before i have to get on a plane to qld and then have to drive at the other end

ok so did alot of thinking .. so far we are at :

Day/Night: Friday the 18th i think works for most otherwise 19th or 20th would work
Start :8:00pm Hungry Jacks/ Car Wash car park at the top of New Line Rd hill on the corner of Sebastian drive
Drive : chose between:
1. Galston gorge then a run down to Brooklyn and longer depending on what people want 95kms depending where you go http://g.co/maps/28h4v
2. Bells Line of Road which is about 125kms depending how far you go http://g.co/maps/tfrfe
3. Pacific highway to Central Mangrove, New South Wales then to Wisemans Ferry about 163kms http://g.co/maps/2rpbt
Please vote :) would like to get it final :)

Guys with the warmer weather and the start time of 8pm you will need to be careful of the wildlife on most of the roads you have mentioned….. Bells Lines is no fun when the sun starts to set, let alone in total darkness.
Not a soobi anymore, but still slightly dirty

Night of 18th or 19th is good for me, so whichever one suits for everyone.

Option 1: Galston Gorge gets my vote

ill see if i can get some other mates interested in this. may not necessarily be libs tho
