Update 28/6/11

Hi All

Well we’re now all filled up with 35 cars / drivers!

Absolutely stoked & want to thank you for getting on board & support my day. Just looking at the list of cars (& characters) we have attending; it’s going to be a cracking day!

At this point in time, all based on 35 cars & drivers, I’m happy to confirm that the costs for the day will be $205.00.

Please be aware, should there be drop outs (Without replacement drivers) this cost may need increase – Obviously we are not anticipating this as we do have people on the waiting list. Will keep everyone informed of the situation.

Without a doubt, as the date draws ever closer there will be more that want to get on board… If you are one of those, please insure you shoot me a PM so I can add you to the waiting list. Obviously it’s not uncommon that we have a few people drop out closer to the event for one reason or another.

Final payments are due by 29/7/11 as this is the date Wakefield require payment in full. Everyone should have my bank details, however should you require them again, please send me a PM ASAP.

To clarify, the only additional cost that may be required is for the AASA license (If you do not already hold one) which is $50.00 for a 1 year license. If you hold a CAMS 2S license, then this will not be required.

As I have mentioned previously, for those who would like to do more Motor Sport events, I would suggest joining a CAMS affiliated club such as JSCC (One of the cheapest, if not the cheapest to join). For more information please visit their website http://jscc.asn.au/ or contact Gavin Bell at events@jscc.asn.au

Drivers are required to be at the track no later then 8:15am to allow enough time to sign in prior to the driver briefing that will take place at 8:30am. We have the track from 9:00am – 4:00pm & to insure we take full advantage of the time, it is imperative that everyone is prompt in terms of arrival time.

No driver will be permitted on the track without going through the driver briefing.

In terms of gear / clothing required, you will need the following:

• Enclosed shoes.
• Long pants.
• Long sleeve shirt.
• ADR approved helmet.

There will be a total of 4 x groups (Approx 9 cars / drivers per group) & we’ll be running in 15 minute sessions. Groups will be organised in terms of performance & experience. Groups may be re-arranged during the day by our marshals should someone be too slow or too fast for their nominated group.

We will be running at least 2-3 sessions that will be un-timed (Generally first session of the day + 1-2 sessions around lunch time) which will allow people to take passengers for a hot lap, or maybe a little bit of advice. No passengers are permitted during timed sessions.

The shop will also be open during the day, so there is no need to bring a packed lunch or leave the track just to get some nibbles etc.

No doubt I will be giving an update closer to the event, but if anyone requires any further clarification, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Get pumped ladies & gents!

Yes there will be. Will do at least 2 untimed sessions. Generally first up in the morning & then around lunch... If people would like more untimed sessions then we can always add more... Ahhh the joys of having a personal track day :D

Had a great time earlier this year so sign me up!

Gives plenty of time to improve my line work beforehand too. Classy.
