Sydney Drive Day - December 5

Was some great roads out that way - and thanks smythie for the 'entertainment'! (PS don't forget to change the avatar!)

Between wobbly, slow offroaders, more police than than a donut shop, smythies little adventure, bacon and blueberries, torrential rain and Commodore loving Lexus drivers, it was a bang up day!

PS Ryan has volunteered to organise the Ski trip this year!

That rain was something else...it was over as fast as it started. Really really heavy too.

What was that commodore loving Lexus driver thing all about? Rod stole my walky talky...which he owned haha

the commodore and lexus pulled onto the motorway at Bellanglo forest and seemed to be driving in convoy. I had pulled in behind the commodore to let the lexus through as they seemed to be wanting to go a fair bit quicker than we were. Once he had gotten far enough that he no longer had an overlap on me he cut straight in and I had to jump on the brakes. He then proceeded to tailgate the commodore at about 10 metres and even then that's being generous. Remember that Transit driver first thing in the morning tailgating John? think half that gap.

After you guys cleared out, I spend some time behind the Commodore/Lexus couple. The moronic driving from the Lexus was just amazing. It was funny to watch when they did get split up and how the Lexus tried to get back behind the Commodore.

Did you notice when we overtook the Transit that the driver had her tongue hanging out the side of her mouth. Obviously in deep concentration!

All things considered, it was a great drive on some lovely roads with some excitement thrown in. We were very luck with the weather, but that rain was crazy on the way back to Marulan.

Thanks to the people who made the effort to come along.

Yeah it was perfect timing I fitted my front sway bar during the week as well...it was sitting around for months then I decided to put it in.

There were lots of potholes along the way too!
