47.4s in a B4 that's all stock bar a rear swaybar - I'm stoked with that, on street tyres too :D

47.021 for me.

Happy with that but I could have had the 46 I wanted if I grew some balls

I'm in for next year.

45.36 on God knows what boost (less than 18 for sure, as low as 13psi)

Only 2 seconds slower than the 911 turbo lol

That is indeed a good time. As was mentioned MDTC isn't a power track so it really tests driving skills more than somewhere like Eastern Creek where the turbo cars could fly away on the straight.

I actually really enjoyed this track with my diesel and a 48second time is fine by me as I really couldn't afford to be pushing it in my work vehicle.

Hoping to have my 3.0TT back soon and am beginning to wonder if I might take it back to MDTC even though I know its not a power circuit I just wanna see what I can do in a car I feel more confident throwing about wearing some proper sticky racing rubber. That said Jerome mentioned something about organising a Wakefield track day next year - that should be AWESOME!!!

Had a awesome day, no issues from the landboat :) Lost a centre cap on the way home though :(

Best time was a 50.7, quite happy with that for my first track event! Pretty keen for the next one (I wouldn't mind if it was MDTC again to track improvements/mods).

After having a run with hoff in the 3.0 wagon I found that it was about 10-15kms faster in the corners (I suspect the new KiDo coilovers and new brake pads had a part in that too) and the only plus I had was I was reaching 100km sooner on the straight  so I gave coilovers a good hard think and I'm possibly getting secondhand teins tomorrow :D

Thanks again for organising Rome!

Nice pics!

PS I'm happy with 46.198 :D

As I said on the day, I am on the waiting list for Wakefield for a Friday so if someone cancels I'll be putting a deposit down! (they are booked out for all Fridays next year already!)

Yeah great day, had heaps of fun (and a few scary moments)

Once agian huge thanks go to Rome for organising the day.

Now all i need is a bit more power to get me out of the corners.

It was also good to meet a few more of the people on here.

Here are my photos. Sorry if I missed most of you out there on the day as I 'focussed' mainly on the videography side while Jack did the proper photography. Still slaving away, in my spare time, with my shite software trying to edit what turned out to to be some reasonable footage of most of us faingin around MDTC, shall publish the vids soon on my channel: http://www.YouTube.com/DeMobBoss
In the meantime enjoy these:
