if fill up prior to the first meet point and you run out of fuel at any point in the day you have some issues that need to be sorted my a mechanic prior to the day.

it's a brilliant road

Sometimes you get a cop just outside the towns or on the big straight sections.
But in the really twisty bits they have nowhere to hide. It's so freaking windey anyway you hardly get over the actual speed limit.
You do get well over the recommended limit signs though. Some corners are yellow signed as low as 20km. That means 80 is a Subie :D
I've got family in The Hunter so I take the Putty instead of the freeway. I have had to pull over several times for passengers to have a vomit
after the mountain sections.

Best drivers road in close to Sydney in my own opinion.

i went the exact route as shown on the link in the post. which is kangaroo valley. its very tight and windy through there. brilliant.
the way back was annoying as every good bit, i was slowed up by every dumb shit and learner... very frustrating. hopefully its not like that when we pass through.

also just an update i spoke to 'great southern hotel' and I've booked for Sunday 02/12/2012 for 25-30 people. they seemed quite flexible about it and said it can change up to just a few days before hand.

Ive done the kangaroo valley trips 20+ times and its a good run...... IF.... You dont have a knob or a learner. Issue is that rarely happens. Being a sunday.... There will be heaps of SUNDAY drivers out.

Great route..... Potentially a shit route tho ..... Due to traffic. Would have to be early in the morning (like 8am) i would think to make sure granddad is still going for his morning paper walk not on his was to kangaroo valley for lunch.

My thoughts.
Not a Subaru...... Something MUCH better

NOPE..... That's shit too. Bus anyone??
