Boostaddict wrote:Shit!!! That has actually worked out to be fairly cheap in the end = under $200 for licence etc.

Will have to do another one next year!! Maybe wakefield??? Ill be there!

The plan was Wakefield this year, but they were booked out for every Friday Saturday and Sunday for the rest of the year! If this one goes well ill be booking Wakefield early, we will get a few faster cars cos there are no noise restrictions and the track is a lot larger and wider so you can go quicker!

Wakefield will probably be a little more expensive but will be offset by a larger amount of drivers I think. Why don't you come to this one too??

Yeah a rest stop or servo along the way would be good to meet up and cruise together. There's a few places I know, will throw up links when I've got a computer in a couple of days

Well I've gotta do a pit stop at the Caltex Casula just before the crossroads. (e85 top up) This is the juncture of m5 m7 and Hume why.

So I reckon its not a bad place for us to meet given we'll be going down that way

It will take about 1hr 30min to get to marulan from there, so what bout if we meet there at 5:30am?

Just throwing it out there but happy for us to meet anywhere near there or on the way down

In the past we have meet up at the Cross roads Home maker centre or truck stop across the road, just off the Hume Highway.

Fuel wise note the following:

For the Shell fan’s you can get V power at Liverpool on the Hume High way next to Macca’s…… breakfast hint.
Further down the down you can get your E85 fix at Caltex, all before getting on the Hume highway heading to Marulan.
Goulburn has one Mobile station that sells 98 on the main street heading into Goulburn, a further than the Marulan turn off.
Not a soobi anymore, but still slightly dirty

I think the Cross roads home maker centre is my pick at the moment, also means E85 nuts like Mick can fill up down the road before heading to the meet spot!

PS how many people would benefit from having a ute coming down with us to carry stuff that you don't want to have in your car i.e. track wheels, jerry cans etc.??
