Noozl is probably taking that VL for a spin again :P, Arent all the roads out near Bells liner 80-100? or something like that..

For some background, the road from Bucketty to St Albans will not be enjoyable. Audrey and I were up at Wollombi and Cessnock last weekend and did the Great North Rd/George Downs Drive in both directions. I turned off to take the road to St Albans at Bucketty but was faced with dirt less than 100m from the turnoff. The road from St Albans to Wisemans is great but not worth punishing your cars down that road IMO

Why not go to terrigal at the central coast.. there is a big car park up there.. can either have bbq byo.. or they got like KFC etc.. can go get it an go back to the park.. this way can all have a full day there, as it's 1/2 newy 1/2 syd :) as well as get that cricket game we missed out on :P an maybe soccer or whatever as well.. bit of run.. good for the family as well... + beach there

Only will take u like 1hr or something to get to terrigal.. then 1hr home.. so if u get there @ terrigal @ say like hmm 9or10am then u have a whole day to spend there?

I think the whole idea of the "drive" exactly that: get out and enjoy some of the better roads around Sydney to drive on
